CONFERENCE ANNOUNCEMENT AND CALL FOR PAPER SUBMISSION FOR THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON SPECIAL EDUCATION "Early Intervention - Supporting for Development of Inclusive Education for Children with Developmental Disabilities” In order to have an overview on the current situation of early intervention for children with developmental disabilities our International Conference seeks to propose the suitable orientations for early intervention activities in local areas as well as give the good opportunities for international academic exchange between scholars to enhance the quality of inclusive education for children with developmental disabilities in the future. Under the permission from the Ministry of Education and Training at Document No.3042/BGDĐT-HTQT on August 13th, 2020, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education organizes an International Conference on “International Conference on Special Education Early Intervention - Supporting for Development of Inclusive Education for Children with Developmental Disabilities”. We are pleased to invite you submit papers for the International Conference.
- Provide a forum for academic exchange of the current situation of early intervention and inclusive education for children with developmental disabilities in Vietnam and in the world. - Put forward some recommendations for the enhancement of the early intervention quality, inclusive education support for children with developmental disabilities to the educational managers and policy makers. - Publish the new research results on the methods and assessment models, early intervention, and inclusive education support for children with developmental disabilities.
The conference will focus on the following topics: - The current situation of early intervention (models, methods, policies...) for children with developmental disabilities in Vietnam and other countries in the world. - The importance of early intervention to the quality of inclusive education for children with developmental disabilities and the living quality of children with developmental disorders. - Suggestions and solutions for the effectiveness of early intervention for chidren with developmental disabilities.
- Specialists in special education from the United States, Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, Taiwan and some other countries. - Delegates of the organizations and sponsors: UNICEF, Save the Children, Singapore International Foundation,… - Researchers, lecturers from a wide range of academic fields: applied educational psychology, social work, and special education nationwide; - Teachers, educational managers, consultants in phonetics, psychomotor, psychotherapy, and special education teachers nationwide; - Undergraduate, graduate and PhD students in the academic fields: psychology, special education, social work, interested in the themes of the international conference.

The working language for the international conference is English and Vietnamese.

Paper submission guidelines - Papers must be typed; the total length of the full paper must not exceed 12 pages. - The paper must be written in the following the format: + Title of the paper: boldface, capital letters in 14 sized font; the name (s) of the author (s), academic title (s) and degree (s) in boldface, lower case letters. (For example: Nguyen Van A); organization(s)/ institution(s) in lower case, bold, and italic letters (For example: Ho Chi Minh City University of Education); Email address; Phone number. + Abstract: written in English and Vietnamese, about 100 - 150 words + Keywords: 4 - 5 words or phrases; + Quotes/References: in APA format -https://apastyle.apa.org/style-grammar-guidelines/paper-format/ - Text layout: + Headings: capitalized, bold; Subheadings: capitalized, lower case, bold. + Text layout: left margin 3cm, right margin 2cm, upper margin 2cm, lower margin 2cm; Font: Times New Roman, font size 13; Title: capitalized, font size 12, line spacing 1.5. - The paper approved by the Conference Board will be published in the International Conference Proceedings. The quality papers will be selected and published on the Journal of Science of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education.
